Clean and Fix a CSV
These tools repair and standardise a CSV. The formatter trims spaces and drops blank and duplicate rows, the validator lists every problem by line, CSV to UTF 8 fixes garbled accents, and the converters change delimiter, encoding, quoting and line endings, or turn a column into a comma delimited list.
Tools in this group
- Comma Delimited List Converter — Paste one item per line and get a comma-separated list (or the reverse), with quotes, sorting and duplicate removal if you need them.
- CSV Converter — Turn one CSV dialect into another: delimiter, encoding, quotes, line endings and decimal separator, with a before-and-after check.
- CSV Formatter and Cleaner — Clean a messy CSV in one pass: trim spaces, drop blank and duplicate rows, tidy headers and sort, with a count of every change.
- TSV to CSV Converter (and CSV to TSV) — Switch a file between comma, tab, semicolon, pipe or any other delimiter, with quoting fixed for the new separator.
- CSV to UTF-8 Converter — Open a CSV with broken accents or the wrong encoding and get clean UTF-8, with or without the BOM Excel needs.
- CSV Validator — Paste or open a CSV to check it: every problem is listed with its line, and clicking it shows the row.
